Sunrise Speech is looking for a skilled and passionate Occupational Therapy Assistant. The ideal candidate would love working with children of all ages, with a variety of sensory and emotional regulation needs.

Hourly rate: $25-40 per hour. Hours are somewhat flexible, though you must be available at least 2 days per week for after school hours. The position is currently to start as part-time but may lead to full time if desired, especially if you are willing to help with reception and Behaviour Intervention roles.

Your responsibilities

-Provide occupational therapy sessions based on the goals provided by the supervising OT

-Collaborate regularly with the OT, SLPs, and BCBA/BIs to discuss client progress and therapy planning

-Instruct children through fun,



motivating, and play-based therapy activities

-Build positive relationships with children and their families

Job Qualifications

-Experience and education as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) within Canada, or an Occupational Therapist in another country

-Experience working with children with disabilities

-Willingness to learn, be creative, and adapt therapy sessions to each child

-Strong communication skills with mastery of English

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
