WHAT YOU WILL DO:

- Design and analyze structural systems for a variety of building projects.
- Prepare and review drawings, calculations, specifications, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, and building codes.
- Review shop drawings, RFIs, change orders, fabrication details, and field modifications.
- Conduct site visits and field reviews, providing technical support throughout construction.
- Collaborate with project and construction teams to resolve design challenges and maintain project timelines and budgets.
- Support permitting, inspections, project documentation, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a structural engineering focus,



or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
- Preference will be given to candidates registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers & Geoscientists of Manitoba
- Engineers-in-Training (EITs) with demonstrated ability to manage projects may also be considered.
- Experience designing structural systems for commercial, industrial, agricultural, and/or steel building projects.
- Strong understanding of structural analysis, design principles, and applicable building codes and standards.
- Proficiency with structural design and engineering software (AutoCAD & Revit)
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
