We are seeking experienced tutors to provide one-on-one online tutoring to college and university students in theology, biblical studies, Christian ministry, church history, religious studies, and related courses.

Tutors are not required to teach all subjects listed below. You can choose which courses and subjects you are qualified and comfortable tutoring.

Tutors will help students understand course material, analyze readings and theological concepts, prepare for assignments and exams, and strengthen their understanding of biblical, theological, historical, and ministry-related topics.

Sessions are delivered virtually and scheduled based on student demand (typically 1–5 hours per week; hours are not guaranteed).

Tutors may specialize in one course or provide tutoring across multiple subjects depending on their education, experience, and areas of expertise.

Responsibilities





- Deliver one-on-one online tutoring sessions
- Explain theological, biblical, historical, and ministry-related concepts clearly
- Help students understand and analyze biblical and theological texts
- Assist students with assignments, essays, readings, quizzes, projects, and exam preparation
- Help students develop arguments and organize written responses to course material
- Adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and academic levels
- Tutor only within subjects in which you are qualified and comfortable
- Maintain professionalism and punctuality during sessions

Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or advanced studies in Theology, Biblical Studies, Religious Studies, Christian Ministry, Divinity, Philosophy, Church History, Christian Education, or a related field
- Robust knowledge of at least one of the college or university-level courses listed above
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred
- Ministry, pastoral, theological education, or other relevant experience is considered an asset
- Strong reading, writing, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to explain theological and biblical concepts in an accessible way
- Comfortable working with students from different backgrounds and perspectives
- Comfortable teaching in an online environment
- Reliable internet connection and professional online presence

Pay: $21.00 per hour
