Salary: $90-$110K – 12 Month Contract – Possible Perm The Opportunity We are partnering with a leading manufacturing & distribution organization to hire a Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, inventory accounting, and operational finance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with multi-entity experience who thrives in a fast‑paced, plant‑focused workplace and enjoys working closely with operations. Position: Senior Accountant Location Toronto, ON Industry Manufacturing & Distribution Key Responsibilities Financial Close & Reporting Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Prepare journal entries, financial schedules, and account reconciliations. Analyze revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses, and capital expenditures with detailed variance analysis. Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Inventory & Manufacturing Finance Prepare monthly inventory valuation for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. Partner with plant operations to support inventory controls, costing accuracy, and operational reporting.



Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within finance and operations. Cash & Lease Accounting Prepare cash and banking reconciliations and reporting. Maintain lease schedules and ensure accurate accounting treatment. Business Support Assist with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects as required. Qualifications CPA designated (or actively pursuing). 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong experience in manufacturing and multi‑entity environments is highly preferred. Experience with ERP systems (Navision an asset) and advanced Excel skills. Solid understanding of financial reporting, inventory accounting, and internal controls.
