Northern Savings Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Operations Administrator to join our Centralized Operations team at Head Office in Prince Rupert, BC.
This role is ideal for an organized professional who enjoys supporting branch teams behind the scenes, maintaining the accuracy and integrity of member transactions, and ensuring operational processes run efficiently. As an Operations Administrator, you will provide administrative and operational support to our retail and lending teams, helping deliver the exceptional member experience Northern Savings is known for.

What You'll Do
Operational Support & Administration
- Provide administrative support to Retail and Lending departments across the organization.
- Process transactions and administrative requests accurately and efficiently.
- Assist branches with operational inquiries and transaction support.
- Help maintain and improve procedures that support branch operations and member service.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Member Service Excellence
- Support branch teams in delivering exceptional member experiences.
- Communicate effectively with staff regarding member transactions and operational processes.
- Take ownership of member concerns and assist with resolution or appropriate escalation.
- Promote Northern Savings products and services through referrals when opportunities arise.
- Maintain a professional and service-focused approach in all interactions.
Team Collaboration & Employee Engagement
- Work collaboratively with Corporate Office and branch teams to meet business objectives.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and supportive workplace culture.
- Participate actively in team meetings and operational initiatives.
- Foster relationships built on trust, integrity, and accountability.
- Represent Northern Savings professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure operational procedures are followed consistently and accurately.
- Assist in the implementation of branch and corporate initiatives.
- Support process reviews and recommend enhancements where appropriate.
- Balance member service needs with operational risk and compliance requirements.
- Ensure work is completed efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Support compliance activities and administrative controls.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements, confidentiality standards, policies, and procedures.
- Understand and follow operational authorities and approvals.
- Ensure all member and organizational information is handled securely and professionally.
- Help maintain the integrity and accuracy of operational records and processes.
What You Bring
Education
- Secondary school diploma required.
- Completion of CUSOURCE and/or Credit Union training courses, or willingness to complete them.
Experience
- Previous administrative experience preferred.
- Financial services experience is considered an asset.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities is an asset.
