Role Description Canyon Bicycles is seeking a hands-on Operations & Logistics Coordinator to anchor our Canadian market operations. This pivotal role bridges the gap between customer service, market strategy, and physical fulfillment. You will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of bicycle inventory—from returns processing to inter-company transfers—while serving as the primary hub for small parts distribution across Canada.
Core Objective: To maintain optimal inventory levels in the Canadian entity, execute high accuracy SAP transactions, to ensure Authorized Service Providers (ASPs) and riders receive parts with industry-leading speed.
Essential Job Functions
Inventory & Market Operations
· Monitor Canadian stock levels and perform quarterly assessments of bike counts.
· Execute SAP Customer orders and manage "Garage Sales" for excess or inactive stock.
· Identify stock thresholds exceeding 100 units and trigger cross-company transfers to the CUS outlet.
· Coordinate with "Service Agent Logistic Operations/Shipping" to receive and re-integrate virtual returns into active stock.
Small Parts Distribution & Warehousing
· Inbound: Receive, inspect, and shelf small parts shipments from global distribution centers.
· Outbound (B2B): Manage the picking, packing, and dispatch of parts to Canadian Authorized
· Service Providers (ASPs).
· Outbound (B2C): Fulfill direct-to-consumer parts orders, ensuring accurate shipping and tracking via local couriers.
· Perform regular cycle counts to ensure physical inventory aligns with SAP system records.
· Coordinate with CANM for Small Parts forecasting and replenishment needs
Systems & Administration
· Maintain high data integrity within SAP (Sales & Distribution / Materials Management modules).
· Utilize Salesforce Service Cloud to track return cases and coordinate with Customer Service Agents.
· Prepare shipping documentation for domestic freight and cross-border transfers.
Minimum Education & Work Experience Requirements
- College Diploma or Equivalent Experience
- Prior experience working in a logistics, fulfillment or supply chain workplace.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven proficiency in SAP is required. Familiarity with Salesforce is a strong asset.
- Logistics Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Canadian courier landscape (Purolator, FedEx, UPS) and basic customs/cross-border awareness.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent campaigns and events
- Comfortable operating in a matrixed, multinational organization, collaborating across time zones with German HQ and US teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- Bilingual English/French considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license
