Job Title: Porter Position Title: Operations Cleaner Department: Operations Report to Team Leader, Supervisor and Manager Manage: Nil Portfolio Focus: We are looking for a Casual/On Call Operations Cleaner.

Duties: Sweeping/Mopping

Garbage collection and removal

Cleaning the washrooms, lunchrooms

Replenishing the supplies

Dusting, disinfecting, and sanitizing

Floor maintenance

Lab’s cleaning

Sweep, vacuum, or blow litter, cigarette butts, and debris from sidewalks, parking areas, and perimeter

Other duties as required or assigned by the Manager and Lead Hand Ad Hoc Responsibilities: Other reasonable requests. Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Education: Ability to safely operate housekeeping equipment and supplies. Ability to physically perform the duties of the position.

Ability to attend work on a regular, on-going, consistent basis. Ability to understand and implement all policies and procedures as they relate to the janitorial work to be performed. Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English.

Must be able to perform all cleaning tasks.

Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
