Join a modern, patient first optometry practice in Burlington

Blink Better is looking for someone who is energetic, personable, curious, and genuinely enjoys working with people for a PART TIME position.

We’re looking for someone who wants to become an important part of a growing practice and help create an experience that patients remember.

You’ll be involved in the entire patient journey, from the moment they walk through our doors to the moment they leave with their glasses, contact lenses, treatment plan, or next appointment.

What you’ll be doing

Your day will be a mix of clinical, optical, and patient care responsibilities, including:

- Performing pre testing and diagnostic testing before the optometrist sees the patient
- Preparing examination rooms and assisting with patient flow
- Taking preliminary measurements and gathering relevant patient information
- Helping patients understand their examination experience and next steps
- Assisting with optical sales, frame selection, lens recommendations, and eyewear styling
- Helping patients find eyewear that fits their vision, lifestyle, and personal style
- Taking measurements and assisting with frame adjustments and fittings
- Processing payments, booking appointments, and completing checkout
- Answering phones, responding to inquiries, and creating a welcoming front desk experience
- Maintaining an organized, polished, and efficient clinic environment
- Learning about our specialty services, including dry eye management and advanced ocular surface care
- Building genuine relationships with patients and helping them feel cared for, not rushed through

You might be an experienced optical or optometric assistant, or you might be someone completely new to the industry who is eager to learn. Experience is an asset, but we can train the right person.

Hours: Hours will vary based on clinic needs and scheduling. Saturday availability twice a month.
