Title: Migration Solution Lead
Location: Calgary, AB
Mandatory Skills: Oracle DBA, Migration exp must
Required:
- 8+ years Oracle DBA/architecture experience, including Data Pump, RMAN, and PL/SQL object dependency analysis
- Prior hands-on experience architecting a large-scale (10TB+) migration/archival to Snowflake and/or AWS Postgres (RDS/Aurora)
- Solid grasp of AWS DMS, S3 staging, and network/bandwidth planning for bulk data transfer (incl. Snowball if needed)
- Client-facing skills: coordinating access/security with client DBA and infra teams, defining validation/reconciliation approach, sign-off ownership
- Understanding of data archival principles (retention, referential integrity for partial-table archives) vs. straight migration
