Crazy Bear Amusement is launching one of Ottawa’s largest outdoor bounce castle attractions this summer! We’re looking for enthusiastic, safety-conscious, and reliable individuals to join our team and create unforgettable experiences for families and children.

This is an outdoor, active position involving guest interaction, inflatable supervision, and safety enforcement. If you love working with children, enjoy being active, and can work outdoors in all weather, this role is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Customer Service

- Welcome guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service
- Explain rules and safety procedures clearly to guests
- Assist families and children to ensure safe and fun experiences
- Answer questions about attractions, schedules, and event operations

Safety & Attraction Operation

- Monitor inflatables continuously to ensure safety
- Enforce rules (age, height, behavior, and capacity limits) firmly and politely
- Respond immediately to unsafe behavior, incidents, or emergencies
- Assist with weather-related or injury evacuations

Operational & Site Duties

- Perform hourly safety checks on all inflatables
- Assist with setup and teardown of attractions (training provided)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free site
- Support crowd control during peak hours
- Complete daily checklists, logs, and incident reports
- Collaborate with supervisors to resolve issues efficiently

Weather & Outdoor Readiness





- Comfortable working in heat, sun, and rain
- Follow safety protocols in all weather conditions
- Participate in weather evacuation procedures when required

Requirements Must-Have

- Positive, friendly, and professional attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Calm and reliable under pressure
- Enjoy working with children and families
- Able to perform physical tasks: lifting, moving inflatables, standing for long periods
- Comfortable enforcing rules firmly but politely
- Reliable and able to work at the Carp, ON location

Nice-to-Have (Assets)

- Experience in childcare, camps, customer service, amusement parks, or recreational activities
- First Aid / CPR certification

- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience working outdoors in fast-paced environments
