Duties

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer/Cue medications accurately following care plans and protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Support residents with dementia or cognitive impairments through specialized care techniques
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
- Help with transfers, heavy lifting,



and positioning to ensure safety for residents and staff

Requirements

- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings is highly preferred
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on senior and hospice care
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively when needed
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate attitude towards residents
- Certification as a PSW or HSW is required or eligible for certification in your region

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
