We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Osteopath to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing holistic patient care, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions through osteopathic principles. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, with an emphasis on pain management, acute care, and overall wellness.

The Osteopath will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.

Duties

- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including data collection and medical history review.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on osteopathic principles.
- Provide hands-on manipulation techniques to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
- Administer medications as necessary and monitor patient responses.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hospital settings to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Offer guidance on preventive health measures and lifestyle modifications.




- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Cerner or Epic.
- Provide care in various settings, including home care and pediatrics, as needed.

Requirements

- Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state license to practice osteopathy.
- Strong knowledge of pain management techniques and acute care practices.
- Experience in pediatrics is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and patient care protocols.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Cerner or Epic.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team setting.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $50.00-$90.79 per hour
