Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Osteopath to join our team. As an Osteopath, you will provide patient-centered care and treatment for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Your expertise in pediatrics, pain management, and acute care will be essential in helping patients achieve optimal health and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical history and current condition - Perform osteopathic manipulative treatments to address musculoskeletal issues
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs
- Provide patient education on preventive measures and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems such as Cerner
- Administer medications as needed and monitor patient response
- Coordinate home care services for patients requiring ongoing treatment
Requirements
- Valid license to practice as an Osteopath
- Should be able to bill under all insurance (EHC)
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis for treatment planning
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and treatment plans
