We are currently looking for a dedicated Sales Associate for our awesome and very active Outdoor Living Store, located in Armstrong.

If you love everything outdoor-living and living-plants you might find a home here. We are looking for someone that has a good amount of plant knowledge and some experience in the nursery business. The right person must be able to work weekends during our busy early spring season.

The best candidate will appreciate the team atmosphere and family business setting. It's a heavy and busy workload but our team is well rewarded. You need to be able to assemble equipment and move heavy products.

Our Outdoor Living Store location specializes in everything for the outdoors. Including: plants, fertilizers, pest control products, BBQ's, patio and lawn furniture, camping and hiking supplies and equipment, lawn tractors and other power equipment.

The successful applicant will be responsible in performing various customer service-related tasks including, but not limited to:

· Providing exceptional customer service to all of our customers

· Assisting customers by helping choose in-store products, or placing special orders.

· Attending to the cashier duties at the front tills.

· Loading product into customer's vehicle.





· Working with the other staff to ensure product restocking

· Offering after sales service and support.

· Other duties as required

Requirements and Qualifications

· Knowledge and experience in plants, nursery and landscape business.

· Must be able to provide excellent customer service.

· Able to work weekdays and weekends with limited supervision.

· Experience with seasonal products such as yard and garden tools, outdoor cooking appliances, hiking & camping supplies is an asset.

· Consistent in attendance, communication and work effort especially during the busy spring season.

· Able to lift up to 50lbs and be actively involved in the business all day long.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
