The opportunity to contribute your experience and expertise towards the reintegration of functionally impaired employees. An environment that allows growth and development in the area of end-to-end disability management.

- Provide Occupational rehabilitation services
- Contribute holistic approaches to managing the health of employees.
- Conduct educational awareness campaigns on prevention of musculoskeletal injuries and chronic diseases.
- Participate in ergonomic risk assessment projects and work process reviews.
- Perform assessments of physical ability analysis and give feedback on fitness for work performance.
- Facilitate and manage ill health, disability, incapacity and return to work processes.
- Evaluate, plan and execute rehabilitation programmes for employees.
- Participate on the relevant Ergonomic Safety Committees.
- Perform functional capacity evaluations and advice on ability to perform work.
- Communicate with production leaders on functional capabilities of the employees.
- Report writing for Disability Insurers.
- Communicate and guide employees on safe work practices.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Occupational Health and Safety Act, EEA, COIDA and other relevant Acts.
- Participate in various projects as identified in the Health management strategy as well as Employee Wellness projects.
- Referral and holistic management of associates with physical, mental and social problems.





What should you bring along?

- University degree in Biokinetics or Occupational therapy
- Professional experience in the field of rehabilitation, functional capacity assessment and report writing.
- Other Qualifications: Training in AMA guides for impairment rating would be an advantage
- At least 3 years' experience in a related field.
- Considerable work experience in managing incapacity and disability cases and other occupational health related issues.
- Experience in designing return to work rehabilitation programs.
- Experience in undertaking workplace ergonomic assessments.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment will be advantageous
- Experience in executing Wellness events.
