Coastal Rides is Hiring Drivers in the Sea to Sky Corridor!

Coastal Rides is a locally owned, community-centered ride-hailing service, and we're looking for reliable, community-minded drivers across the Sea to Sky to help us serve our growing rider base. From Squamish up through Whistler and Pemberton, we want neighbours behind the wheel getting neighbours where they need to go.

Expected contractor earnings: Drivers across the Coastal Rides platform currently earn a median of $30 to $40 per engaged hour based on recent trip data. As an owner-operator, you keep 73 percent of every fare after a $2.75 booking fee, and you're paid per completed trip rather than an hourly wage.



Full-time drivers who work 30 or more hours per week may also qualify for standby pay. Actual earnings vary by community, demand, and driver availability.

What you'll need:

- BC Driver's Licence (Class 1, 2, or 4). You can take the Class 4 restricted test in your regular vehicle.
- Vehicle less than 10 years old, commercially inspected and insured. Coastal Rides can reimburse your inspection after your first 10 trips.
- Driver's abstract and criminal record check
