We're a Protex (powered by XPEL) location looking for an experienced PPF Installer to join our team. If you've got steady hands, an eye for detail, and take pride in a flawless finish, we want to hear from you.

What you'll do
- Prep and decontaminate paint surfaces so film goes down clean — wash, clay, and inspect under proper lighting
- Perform paint correction — compounding and polishing to remove swirls, scratches, and defects before film or coating
- Plot and cut film patterns using DAP software and a plotter, plus bulk cutting for custom coverage
- Install PPF on bumpers, hoods, fenders, mirrors, and full vehicles, etc.
- Post-heat and finish installs so film sets properly and holds up long-term
- Apply ceramic coatings to paint, film, glass, and wheels, and manage proper cure times
- Inspect every job for bubbles, lifting, contamination, and high spots before it leaves the bay
- Keep your bay and tools clean and organized
- Handle occasional heavy lifting of equipment and materials
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on PPF installation experience
- Experience with XPEL DAP templates and plotting is a strong asset
- Paint correction and ceramic coating experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Reliable, professional, and comfortable in a busy shop
- Valid driver's licence and comfortable moving customer vehicles
- Able to lift safely when needed
