Responsibilities

- Assist painters with surface preparation including sanding, scraping, and caulking to ensure smooth finishes
- Handle hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during painting and rigging tasks
- Support the setup and breakdown of scaffolding, ladders, and other rigging equipment for elevated work
- Read blueprints, schematics, or job instructions to understand project specifications and scope
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, masking, and applying primer as needed for residential, commercial, or industrial projects




- Mix paints and other materials accurately according to project requirements
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times

Qualifications

- Prior construction experience or familiarity with building sites preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics to understand project details
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, caulking techniques, and carpentry skills
- Experience with restoration work or industrial painting is a plus
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently
- Customer service mindset with a positive attitude towards client satisfaction
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, standing for long periods, and working at heights safely
