We are looking to fill the full-time seasonal position of Painter at Fernie Alpine Resort. Reporting to the Building Maintenance Manager, the ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, physically fit, and comfortable with working at heights. You Will

- Preparing and cleaning surfaces, sanding, scraping, dusting
- Removing old or failed wallpaper, paint, stain
- Repair cracks and holes
- Apply paint to a variety of surfaces both interior and exterior
- Use masking tape or other materials to protect surfaces not being painted
- Apply paint by brush, roller, spray, or other methods
- Clean equipment and tools before leaving the job site
- Know and adhere to the policies, rules, and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook.
- Know and follow all protected work procedures included in the Safety Management Program.
- Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs.




- Perform other related duties as required.

You Have

- Able to work alone or in a team environment
- Must be ok with working at heights
- Must be reliable
- Must be physically capable and able to work outside

Compensation And Benefits

- Competitive wage: $20.00-23.00/hour
