Bob's Motorsport is a powersports dealership in Chatham, Ontario. We're a small, tight-knit team and we run a focused operation. We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented bookkeeper to own our day-to-day accounting functions on a part-time basis.

The Role

This is an on-site position, approximately 10–12 hours per week. You'll handle the transactional accounting that keeps the dealership moving — from daily reconciliations and payroll to remittances and month-end statements. You'll work closely with the General Manager and report directly to ownership.

The work is process-driven and consistent. If you're someone who takes pride in clean books and doesn't need to be managed, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Do

- Daily sales reconciliation and cash balancing
- Bank deposits and cash reconciliation
- Accounts payable — vendor payments and cheque preparation
- Accounts receivable and collections follow-up
- Payroll processing
- Bookkeeping and receipt entry
- Deal auditing and commission verification
- Monthly financial statement preparation
- HST,



source deduction, and WSIB remittances
- Floorplan payoff processing
- Co-op claim submissions
- Administration within Reynolds & Reynolds (R&R;) dealer management system

What We're Looking For

- Proven bookkeeping or accounting experience — dealership background is a solid asset
- Familiarity with Reynolds & Reynolds or a similar DMS is a plus
- Working knowledge of Canadian payroll and CRA remittance requirements
- Sharp attention to detail and a process-oriented approach
- Able to work independently and manage your own time effectively

Position Details Location: 615 St Clair St, Chatham, ON — on-site

Hours: 10–12 hours per week

Schedule: Monday–Thursday preferred

Employment Type: Part-time

Compensation: Starting at $25/hour, commensurate with experience

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
