Little Kitchen Academy Vancouver Fraser is looking for Summer Break Instructors who are kind, enthusiastic, have a passion for nutrition, love working with children, and feel comfortable in the kitchen. Morning, afternoon, and evening positions are available.

MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK FRIDAY-MONDAY (Including the weekend)

We are currently hiring 1-2 Instructors. You must be available to work from Friday-Monday, including Saturdays and Sundays for the majority of the Fall Season as well as to start training as early as late August.

Instructors need to have or be open to obtaining:

- Current food handling certification (FoodSafe)
- Criminal record check
- First Aid/CPR/AED Training.

LKA is a VERY fast paced environment and job entails being on your feet for 4 hours or more and will include some heavy lifting. Job duties include but but not limited to:
- Teaching life skills and food literacy while leading the recipe of the day to students ages 3 - 18.
- Fostering a fun, inclusive and engaging workplace for our students.
- Providing support to students and lead instructors during class.
- Opening / closing duties including but not limited to cleaning the environment & a lot dishes, receiving and putting away supplies,



keeping the environment clean and organized.

Experience with working with children is a MUST. Cooking / Kitchen experience is a MUST - This does not have to be professional. But a general understanding and interest in cooking/food is ideal. BOH experience is an asset.

Must be available to work during the Fall and Winter season including Winter Break: December 18-January 8.

Hours will vary based on enrollment. This listing is for a Part-Time Position (approx 8-20 hours week) that can transition to a Full Time role during Winter Break and Spring Break if desired. We are ideally looking for someone with a flexible schedule.
