CGC Inc. recrute actuellement un partenaire d'affaires en ressources humaines basé à son usine de Montréal, au Québec.

Il s'agit d'un poste permanent à temps plein, offrant une occasion stimulante à une personne motivée de démontrer ses capacités techniques et analytiques dans une exploitation de carrière au sein d'une grande entreprise.

Responsabilités - Administrer les programmes de relations avec les employés, assurer des relations de coopération, maintenir des pratiques de communication efficaces, formuler des recommandations sur les plaintes, accidents, performances et questions disciplinaires, répondre aux accusations, effectuer des enquêtes, coordonner les événements d'engagement et faciliter une relation positive avec le syndicat.

- Agir en tant que conseiller principal en matière de sécurité, appliquer les règles et règlements de sécurité, mettre en œuvre le programme de prévention des accidents, identifier les tendances, recommander des améliorations et assurer la conformité aux exigences réglementaires telles que CNESST, WCB BC, etc.
- Développer et mettre en œuvre la stratégie d'acquisition de talents pour les sites de Montréal, Laval, Surrey et Port Kells, surveiller les tendances de recrutement, diriger les activités de recrutement universitaire, gérer les promotions/transferts internes, participer aux entrevues et superviser l'intégration.
- Identifier les besoins de formation, dispenser ou fournir l'infrastructure de formation, administrer le programme de gestion des performances, faciliter les évaluations de talents et de succession, coordonner les initiatives de diversité.
- Recommander les décisions relatives aux salaires, aux traitements et aux incitatifs, superviser le programme de taux des opérateurs pour les plants non syndiqués, promouvoir les programmes d'avantages sociaux, aider les employés à prendre des décisions éclairées, gérer les demandes de prestations d'assurance chômage, participer aux appels, audiencias et résoudre les problématiques de congés autorisés.

Qualifications - Baccalauréat requis.

- 5 (cinq) années d'expérience dans les ressources humaines, préférence forte pour l'industrie manufacturière.
- Expérience de gestion d'une convention collective fortement souhaitée.
- Maîtrise à l'oral et à l'écrit de l'anglais et du français.
- Connaissance approfondie des lois et pratiques RH, capacité à dispenser de la formation à des groupes variés.
- Capacité à coacher employés et gestionnaires.
- Compétences solides en communication écrite et orale à tous les niveaux.
- Capacité à fournir un leadership éclairé, influencer et maintenir des partenariats collaboratifs.
- Orientation forte vers les relations avec les employés.
- Compétences organisationnelles, gestion du temps, analyse et résolution de problèmes.
- Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités concurrentes, travailler de façon indépendante ou en équipe.
- Capacité à coacher et conseiller le personnel administratif aux plants de base et secondaires.
- Disposition à voyager en Colombie-Britannique.
- Capacité à présenter devant un groupe.

Human Resources Business

Partner CGC Inc. is a leading marketer, manufacturer and distributor of gypsum wallboard products, interior finishing material and suspended acoustical ceilings. With locations around the world, CGC and USG have the resources, plants, products, and people to build walls, ceilings, and careers. CGC Inc. is currently recruiting a Human Resources Business Partner for our manufacturing plant, based in Montreal, Quebec.

The Human Resources Business

Partner will have accountability for meeting the overall human resources and safety needs at the home plant (Montreal, PQ –165 employees and Laval, PQ- 35 employees), in addition to two satellite facilities (Surrey and Port Kells, BC - 23 employees). This role will provide guidance and support to managers on human resources and safety matters and will be accountable for managing the plant's talent acquisition strategy, providing salary administration support, and employee development. The incumbent will serve as a resource to employees for questions and concerns.

This position will be based out of the Montreal Plant and report to the Director of Human Resources for CGC. It requires weekly travel to Laval and quarterly travel to Surrey, BC.

Responsibilities - Employee Relations – effectively administer CGC/USG's employee relations programs, maintain cooperative relationships, communicate effectively, recommend on complaints, accidents, performance and disciplinary issues, participate in agency charge responses and investigations, coordinate plant engagement events, facilitate positive relationship with the union at the Montreal plant.

- Safety – act as the primary safety advisor, ensure appropriate application of all safety rules and regulations, implement the Accident Prevention Program, identify trends and recommend focus areas, ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, improve the working environment, actively participate in case management.




- Talent Acquisition – develop and execute the talent acquisition strategy for the Montreal plant, monitor staffing trends, manage internal promotion/transfer process, participate in interviews, oversee onboarding activities.
- Employee Development / Succession Planning – identify training needs, deliver training or provide training infrastructure, administer performance management program, facilitate talent/succession reviews (e.g., 9-Box), coordinate diversity initiatives.
- Salary & Benefit Administration – recommend wage, salary, and incentive decisions, oversee Operator Rate Program for non-union plants, promote CGC benefit programs, advise employees on investment, retirement and leave of absence programs, manage unemployment claim information, participate in appeals and hearings, resolve leave of absence issues.

Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required.

- 5 (five) years human resources experience required, with experience in a manufacturing setting strongly preferred.
- Experience managing a collective agreement is strongly preferred.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and French.
- Extensive knowledge of HR laws and practices. Capable of delivering training to groups of varying sizes and make-up.
- Ability to coach employees and managers.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to provide thought leadership and influence and maintain collaborative partnerships.
- Strong employee relations focus.
- Strong organizational skills, including time management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities. Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Ability to coach and mentor administrative staff at home and secondary plants.
- Willing to travel to British Columbia.
- Ability to present in front of a group.
