We’re Hiring: Payroll Specialist

Pro Administration Services Inc. is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist with strong expertise in ADP Workforce Now to join our team in Surrey, BC.

Position Details:

- Full-time, in-office
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Salary: $75,000–$83,000
- Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage full-cycle payroll for multiple payroll groups and pay frequencies
- Review, validate, reconcile, and balance payroll prior to processing
- Process new hires, terminations, status changes, bonuses, vacation payouts, retroactive adjustments, and off-cycle payments
- Maintain accurate employee payroll data in ADP Workforce Now
- Review timecards and process overtime, shift premiums, statutory holiday pay, vacation, and leaves
- Investigate and resolve payroll and timekeeping discrepancies
- Process ROEs, statutory deductions, taxable perks, garnishments, and pension contributions
- Support year-end processing, including T4 preparation and reconciliation
- Prepare payroll, labour distribution, vacation liability, union, and audit reports
- Perform payroll and General Ledger reconciliations and investigate variances




- Work closely with HR, Operations, Scheduling, and Union representatives to resolve payroll matters
- Maintain ADP Workforce Now payroll configurations and support payroll process improvements

What We’re Looking For:

- PCP designation
- 5–7 years of progressive full-cycle payroll experience
- Extensive hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now
- Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and employment standards
- Advanced Excel and reconciliation skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict payroll deadlines
