Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient care by monitoring health status, reporting changes, and supporting medication administration under supervision
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Support clients with dementia or disabilities through engaging activities and compassionate companionship
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a protected environment
- Help with mobility and heavy lifting to ensure client safety during transfers or repositioning




- Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams and family members

Qualifications

- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or private home care environments preferred
- Knowledge of senior care, hospice care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
- Basic understanding of medication administration protocols (training provided if needed)
- Ability to maintain a clean environment through cleaning duties and organization
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to meet client needs
