We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Personal Lines Insurance Broker to join our growing team in Nova Scotia. This role is ideal for a knowledgeable insurance professional who excels in servicing and selling personal lines policies, with a strong emphasis on home insurance. You will work closely with clients to assess risk, provide tailored coverage solutions, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Service and sell personal lines insurance products, including home and auto insurance
- Conduct thorough client needs analyses and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
- Manage policy renewals, endorsements, and new business quotes
- Maintain accurate and compliant client records using the EPIC broker management system
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Stay current with insurer products, underwriting guidelines, and provincial regulations
- Demonstrate professionalism and integrity in all client and insurer interactions

Qualifications & Experience

- CAIB designation (completed or fully certified)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in personal lines insurance brokerage
- Proven proficiency in home insurance, including underwriting, coverage analysis,



and claims-related knowledge
- Strong working knowledge of Applied EPIC
- Licensed (or eligible for licensing) to conduct insurance business in Nova Scotia
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to client service excellence
