Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide exceptional care and assistance to individuals in need of support in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. As a vital member of our caregiving team, you will empower clients to maintain their independence, enhance their quality of life, and feel safe and comfortable in their daily routines. Duties

- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity

- Support clients with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols

- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to prevent injury

- Monitor clients’ health status, report changes or concerns promptly

Skills





- Prior experience in assisted living or nursing home environments is highly desirable

- Strong background in senior care, including working with individuals with disabilities

- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety standards

- Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, compassion, and active listening abilities

- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation efficiently while maintaining hygiene standards

- Effective communication skills for interacting with client

- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or care requirements

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
