Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in need, including seniors and persons with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and delivering high-quality care in a respectful and dignified manner.

Responsibilities

- Provide patient care and support to clients in their homes or care facilities.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Support clients with mobility assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including dementia care and hospice care when applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any concerns to healthcare professionals.




- Collaborate with family members and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or senior care is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and medication administration is essential.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the needs of the clients.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are crucial for this role.
- Certification as a nurse or relevant healthcare qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Must be reliable, patient, and possess a genuine desire to help others.
