We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential assistance to individuals with disabilities, seniors, and those in need of specialized care. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering support in daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity.

Responsibilities

- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist clients with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
- Help clients with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safe movement within their environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe living space for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Support clients with dementia care or hospice care as needed, ensuring a respectful approach to sensitive situations.
- Collaborate with case management teams to develop personalized care plans tailored to individual client needs.




- Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance caregiving skills.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as senior care, home care, or nursing home settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of working with persons with disabilities and understanding their unique needs is essential.
- Familiarity with dementia care practices and hospice care principles is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks effectively while maintaining a protected environment for clients.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
