As a Petroleum Superintendent with Keller, you will be responsible for managing all onsite construction activities. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality. You will demonstrate a high level of due diligence and compliance within regulatory standards and project requirements.

You will interact with stakeholders of all levels. The ability to demonstrate the company’s vision and values is essential.

Responsibilities:

- Safety Leadership: Lead and maintain a strong site safety culture while ensuring compliance with OHS legislation, industry standards, Keller policies, and project-specific requirements. Conduct safety meetings, inspections, reporting, and verify required training and certifications.

- Project Scheduling & Execution:



Work closely with the Project Manager to plan and execute project activities. Develop and maintain short- and long-term schedules, coordinate trades and subcontractors, and ensure inspections, consultant reviews, and key project milestones are effectively managed.

- Budget & Resource Management: Monitor project budgets, labour, materials, equipment, L.E.M. processes, contracts, and resource utilization. Support effective procurement and ensure accurate time, receipt, and cost tracking.

- Quality Assurance & Control: Interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, building codes, and trade requirements. Implement and document QA/QC processes throughout the project lifecycle and ensure work meets required quality and performance standards.

- Field Leadership: Maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, trades, and other stakeholders. Provide direction, mentorship, and coaching to Keller employees and promote a qualified, team-oriented site environment.

- Project Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs, site photos, Digital Twin captures, inspections, and other required project documentation.

- Field Support: Provide hands-on support to the project team, including carpentry and general labour activities as required to support safe and efficient project execution.

Qualifications:

- Journeyman Carpentry Certificate or post-secondary education in relevant discipline
- Petroleum Mechanic 2 & Petroleum Mechanic 3 certification is an asset
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial, retail petroleum or light industrial construction
- Minimum of 5+ years of Superintendent-level experience managing projects valued between $1M–$10M
- Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn and adapt to recent construction technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites throughout Western Canada
