Job Summary

Join our dynamic pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in supporting pharmacy operations within a fast-paced, patient-centered setting. Knowledge of Mandarin is an asset.

Duties

- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and dispensing in accordance with medical orders and pharmacy protocols
- Support medication intake processes by verifying prescriptions, updating patient records, and ensuring accurate documentation
- Provide excellent patient service by answering questions and supporting patient care activities
- Manage inventory control by stock checking, restocking supplies, and ensuring proper storage of medications.
- Support the pharmacy team during critical care situations by preparing medications swiftly and accurately under supervision

Qualifications

- Previous pharmacy technician or assistant experience.




- Strong understanding of medical terminology and acute care procedures
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a healthcare team in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail for accurate documentation and inventory management
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients, healthcare providers, and team members to support optimal patient outcomes
