Work Location: On site – Deloraine Health Centre (109 Kellett Street, Deloraine, MB R0M 0M0), Bren Del Win Lodge (103 Kellett Street, Deloraine, MB R0M 0M0). There is no option to work remotely.
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Anticipated Shift: Full Time, Days, Early Mornings, Mornings, Evenings, Nights, On Call, Weekends
Daily Hours Worked: Various hour shifts (30 to 40 hours per week)
Position Type: Fee for service
Wage Rate: Compensation is fee-for-service as per the Doctors Manitoba and Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living negotiated rates. Benefits are not provided, but may be purchased if the successful candidate so desired.
Position Summary
Deloraine Health Centre is a 14 bed acute care and 16 bed long term care facility, with an additional 30 long term care bed at Bren Del Win Lodge. Services include Diagnostic, Emergency, Public Health, Mental Health, and Home Care.
Prairie Mountain Health is seeking a Family Physician to join the Deloraine Health Centre. Duties to include: performing all duties associated with a family practice, including diagnosing and treating diseases, physiological disorders and injuries of patients, act as the primary care provider and provide continuous care toward the management of patients’ health. The physician will also share in the Emergency Department on call schedule and will cooperate and coordinate coverage with other physician colleagues.
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
