Duties
- Assist licensed pharmacy technicians and pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and distribution.
- Manage inventory levels by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and conducting regular stock checks to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, medication logs, and patient information in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support the pharmacy team during medication administration processes by preparing supplies and organizing medications efficiently.
- Prepares third-party insurance claims,
processes invoices and makes accounting entries using computerized system.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy environment to uphold safety standards.
Qualifications
- Employees with current pharmacy experience will be given preference over other
- candidates.
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to medications and patient care.
- Demonstrated ability to handle medication administration tasks accurately and responsibly.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, patient-focused approach.
- Ability to work efficiently in quick-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
