Permanent, full-time opportunity This is a full-time, permanent position at 40 hours per week.
We’re looking for someone with the flexibility to work variable shifts during our operating hours: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 7:00pm and weekends from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

We are looking for a highly motivated and patient-focused Pharmacy Manager to join our incredible Affirming Care Pharmacy team in Mississauga.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Pharmacy Operations, the Pharmacy Manager will play a key role in leading our day-to-day pharmacy operations and the pharmacy team, helping to refine processes and ensure every patient receives the most inclusive, affirming care possible. Managing the Pharmacy Team Supporting with hiring, and supervising a high-performing team of Pharmacists,
Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Assistants Owning performance management for the pharmacy team, including setting goals, conducting regular performance reviews and coaching Onboarding and training recent team members, and identifying ongoing development opportunities for existing team members Creating and managing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage across operating hours, including evenings and weekends Performing patient medication counseling duties and providing exceptional customer service both over the phone and in-person Coordinating with patients to set up shipping and delivery preferences Managing patients’ refill cycles to make sure they do not run out of their medication Providing in-person patient care, including administering injections in accordance with scope of practice and regulatory requirements Leading Pharmacy Operations & Oversight Supervising and assisting Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants ensuring the accuracy of all prescriptions dispensed and shipped as per College of Pharmacy regulations Overseeing inventory management; performing inventory audits, managing the purchasing of packaging and pharmacy supplies and coordinating medication orders with wholesalers Ensuring compliance with applicable Federal and Provincial laws, rules and regulations Ensuring all requirements for the documentation and control of substances under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Regulations are satisfied A Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Science or Pharm-D ~ 2+ years of people management experience in a pharmacy setting ~ A strong understanding of pharmacy business operations and economics ~ Proficiency in all aspects of pharmacy software,
from data entry and billing to report generation and troubleshooting ~ The ability to set priorities and manage time effectively, and is detail-oriented ~ Flexibility to work different shifts including evenings and weekends 120,000-$140,000 CAD/year (equivalent to $57.69 - $67.31 per hour) ~ Eligible for quarterly bonuses ~ Earn stock options through our Equity Incentive Plan—connect your efforts to PurposeMed’s growth as we work together to improve the lives of our patients across North America. ~ The compensation listed above refers to a yearly base salary that may vary depending on a candidate's relevant qualifications, knowledge, competencies and work experience, and other factors including market conditions.
