Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher to inspire students and foster a love for science through engaging instruction and innovative teaching methods. Duties
- Develop and deliver comprehensive physics lessons aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating instructional design best practices
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to organize course materials, track student progress, and facilitate online learning components
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with disabilities or special education requirements, ensuring an inclusive classroom workplace
- Deliver one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects that integrate math, writing skills, and scientific inquiry
- Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and projects; provide constructive feedback to promote growth
- Maintain clear communication with students,
parents, and staff regarding academic progress and classroom activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Education, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred
- Proven classroom experience teaching physics at various educational levels
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education settings is highly desirable
- Familiarity with LMS platforms for instructional delivery and student management
- Strong knowledge of math fundamentals relevant to physics concepts
- Excellent communication skills for effective instruction and collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to design engaging lessons that incorporate writing skills and hands-on activities
- Passion for education, science, and fostering student curiosity in physics
