Physiotherapy assistant will work in close contact with residents to help them implement treatment programs and achieve their goals set out by the physiotherapist.

- Assist the supervising physiotherapist in performing various components of the assessment and treatment plans for individuals living in residential care communities

- Perform various treatments as prescribed and directed by the supervising Physiotherapist including but not limited to gait training, balance exercises, range of motion, strengthening, and application of modalities. (i.e. heat, ice, ultrasound, etc.)

- Deliver secure and therapeutic exercise classes for groups of residents

- Maintain regular ongoing communication with the physiotherapist regarding any changes or concerns about a resident's status or treatments.

- Record daily treatments based on a professional way and as per the need.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
