Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Sorter to join our team in the Quarry Park location. As a Sorter, you will play a vital role in our recycling operations, ensuring materials are processed efficiently and contribute to our mission of promoting sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Manually sort recyclable materials from construction and demolition debris from a conveyer belt or floor to accurately to maximize efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of sorting areas
- Assist with heavy lifting 50lbs of materials as needed
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to optimize sorting processes
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment for maintenance needs
- Support sanitation efforts within the facility.
Qualifications
- Verbal Communication (use of two way radio communication required, training provided)
- Solid attention to detail for accurate sorting
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Excellent teamwork skills and communication abilities.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
