Company Overview Interior Plumbing & Heating Ltd. (IPH) is a proud, community-driven mechanical contractor with 76 years of experience building projects across Western Canada — from Vancouver Island to Calgary, Alberta, and beyond. We specialize in projects involving Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Protection, Sheet Metal and Pipefitting.
We are unique, with fully integrated in-house design and prefabrication capabilities, providing our teams exposure to the full build process — from concept to installation. Through collaboration, innovation and building strong teams in the communities where we work, IPH delivers efficient, high-quality construction projects.
About the Opportunity
IPH is hiring Pipefitters at all levels — from apprentices through to Red Seal Journeypersons — for a large-diameter dredging and water management pipeline project in the Highland Valley, with work anticipated to begin in September 2026.
The scope covers fusion and installation of large-bore HDPE pipeline, fit-up and installation of a heavy-wall carbon steel discharge line, valve station fabrication and installation, and hydrostatic testing of the completed systems. Bussing to and from site is provided from Kamloops, Merritt and Logan Lake.

- Pipe handling, stringing and alignment across the pipe corridor.
- Flange bolt-ups.
- 24” Carbon steel pipeline.
- Welding support for pipeline welders.
- Valve station fabrication and installation.
- Hydrostatic testing of completed systems.
