Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Plant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility. The Plant Manager will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and productive operations while maintaining high standards for quality, delivery, and employee performance.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing or plant management experience, with preference given to candidates who have experience working with aluminum manufacturing or processing.

Duties

- Oversee daily plant operations, production, and workflow
- Lead, manage, and develop production and plant employees
- Ensure production schedules and customer deadlines are met
- Monitor productivity, efficiency, quality, and overall plant performance
- Implement and maintain safety policies and procedures
- Identify operational issues and develop solutions to improve efficiency
- Manage staffing, scheduling, training, and employee performance
- Work closely with purchasing, sales, operations, and management to coordinate production requirements
- Monitor inventory, materials, equipment, and production resources
- Ensure equipment and machinery are properly maintained
- Maintain high standards for product quality and minimize waste and rework
- Develop and improve processes to increase productivity and reduce costs
- Track key performance indicators and provide regular updates to management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable workplace and safety requirements
- Promote a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work setting

Qualifications





- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing, production, or plant management experience
- Aluminum manufacturing or processing experience preferred
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Proven ability to manage production schedules and meet deadlines
- Robust understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and workplace safety
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using production, inventory, and computer-based management systems
- Demonstrated ability to improve efficiency, productivity, and operational performance

We are looking for a hands-on leader who takes ownership of the plant's performance, holds teams accountable, and is not afraid to get involved on the floor when needed. The successful candidate will be proactive, solutions-oriented, and focused on building a safe, productive, and high-performing operation. Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
