Responsibilities
- Assist plumbers with installing pipes, fixtures, and fittings according to blueprints and schematics
- Prepare work sites by gathering tools, materials, and safety equipment needed for daily tasks
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, assemble, and secure plumbing components
- Read basic blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and layouts
- Support the assembly of plumbing systems,
including measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Help with routine maintenance tasks on plumbing equipment and systems as directed
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge with an interest in plumbing systems and construction processes
- Ability to operate hand and power tools
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning recent skills
- Physical ability to stand, lift, bend, and work in various outdoor or indoor environments for extended periods
- Prior construction experience or related training is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essentiaL
