Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced PM Fork Lift Lead Hand to oversee and coordinate forklift operations within our warehouse and distribution facilities. This role is vital in ensuring efficient, safe, and accurate handling of goods, supporting supply chain processes, and leading a team of forklift operators. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Responsibilities

- Supervise daily forklift operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of forklift operators, providing coaching and performance feedback
- Coordinate with warehouse management systems (WMS), SAP, ERP systems, and Digital waybill for inventory tracking and order fulfillment
- Oversee order picking, packing, and shipping processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Support process improvement initiatives by analyzing workflow data and implementing efficiency strategies
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations related to heavy lifting and equipment operation
- Collaborate with supply chain teams, purchasing departments, and 3PL providers to optimize warehouse distribution activities
- Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment; coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed
- Utilize Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for reporting, scheduling,



and communication purposes
- Foster a culture of teamwork, safety awareness, customer service excellence, and continuous improvement within the team

Skills

- Proven experience supervising forklift operations in manufacturing or warehouse environments
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and process documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as SAP, ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Digital waybill platforms
- Knowledge of supply chain logistics, e-commerce fulfillment, packaging procedures, and warehouse distribution practices
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate forklifts proficiently; certification preferred
- Strong communication skills for clear instructions and team coordination in both English and French if applicable
- Data analysis skills for monitoring KPIs related to order picking accuracy, process efficiency, and safety metrics
- Familiarity with 3PL providers’ operations and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is a plus
