The Department of Pediatrics at CHEO, University of Ottawa is recruiting a full‑time pediatric neurologist within the Division of Neurology.

• Provide clinical care for children and youth in inpatient and outpatient settings, including general neurology and specialized clinics in epilepsy, sleep, white‑matter disorders, movement disorders, and neuromuscular disorders.


• Offer on‑call coverage.


• Engage in academic research and contribute to educational activities, including resident and fellowship training.


• Participate in the Department’s active residency and fellowship programs.

• MD and eligibility for licensing in Ontario.


• Royal College (Neurology) certification or equivalent; subspecialty training in Pediatric Epilepsy is preferred.


• Certification in EEG with the Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists (CSCN) or American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine.


• Interest and experience in research and education.


• English as primary language; functional French is an asset.


• Preference given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents.

The successful candidate will be eligible for a faculty appointment in the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine at a rank commensurate with experience.
