The British Columbia Geomatics team within the Transportation Group is looking for a Survey Technician/Technologist to support our operations across the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.

In this role, you will contribute to technical fieldwork, assisting with data collection and surveying activities on a variety of projects. The ideal candidate is curious, adaptable, enjoys travelling, and eager to learn, with a solid interest in developing a career in Geomatics.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Work with safety as a top priority, actively participating in Stantec’s HSSE culture.
- Perform a variety of survey including topographic, bathymetric, monitoring, 3D scanning.
- Prepare survey drawings in Civil3D.
- Research, purchase, and draft plans from BC Land Titles.
- QA/QC of field data and drafted data.
- Willingness to travel for work throughout British Columbia including overnighting with accommodations and meal allowances provided.
- Physically capable of performing work outdoors in rugged terrain and all weather conditions.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
