This in office opportunity helps support our Toronto (North York) facility with additional support to our Barrie location. They will also act as the first point of contact for HR and QEHS inquiries from employees. This role will oversee the day‑to‑day execution of applicable programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with the Organization's objectives and functional HR goals.Key Responsibilities- Lead various aspects of recruitment process, including start up recruitment supporting our recycling operation.- Support and maintain a positive working relationship with all employees.- Provide guidance and instruction to employees and leaders on Human Resources policies, programs, and systems.- Support and grow our employee culture engagement.- Actively participate in the development of HR programs and initiatives and supports the implementation and maintenance.- Employee relations, including coaching and counselling as required.- Assist with all health & safety functions, including OHS compliance, investigations, JHSC, training, reporting, and administrative tasks.- Active participation in JHSC, along with promoting safety awareness.- Support Plant Wide Meetings,
