We are an established and growing printing and marketing company with three locations, specializing in direct mail and full-service printing for businesses locally and abroad.

We are currently looking for a Prepress Technician who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both customers and our production team to prepare files for print.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with design files, and being part of a team that keeps production moving efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Review and prepare customer artwork for print production
- Create or adjust layouts as required to meet print specifications
- Preflight files to ensure proper resolution, bleeds, fonts, and colour setup
- Communicate with clients and Customer Service Representatives to finalize artwork approvals
- Prepare files for digital, offset, and large format printing
- Manage multiple jobs and ensure deadlines are met
- Maintain organized job files and production workflows

Requirements

- Strong communication and business writing skills
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro)
- Strong computer skills including Windows, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills




- Strong attention to detail

Experience & Qualifications

- 1–2 years experience working in a digital, offset, or sign print shop is required.
- Experience preparing files for print production
- We provide ongoing onsite training
