Brief Description

This position is responsible for maintaining a high standard for all housekeeping and cleaning activities for the press line, forming line, and Kontra saws.

Requirements

- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate

- Complete the daily checklist to ensure all job tasks are completed each day and note any deficiencies for corrective active
- Perform all cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning, and waste removal
- Remove all fibre buildup and remove oil from catch pans and between the frames
- Check sump pumps to ensure they are operational and remove any excess solids from the sump pump holes
- Check the hydraulic pack levels, clean and maintain as required
- Check and maintain vacuums, and waste oil tank levels
- Report any Maintenance items that require attention, i.e. missing guards, unusual noises
- Clean areas of the press during press downtime that are not normally accessible when the press is in operation
- Keep all tools clean and organized
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must be able to work 12 hour shifts on a rotating basis in a 24/7 manufacturing facility
