and monetization investments; draft investment memoranda and present to the Investment CommitteeNegotiate term sheets and litigation funding agreements compliant with Canadian jurisprudenceMonitor funded matters through trial, appeal, and resolutionWhat You BringLLB/JD and 7+ years of complex commercial litigation or arbitration experience at a leading Canadian firmCalled to the bar of Ontario or another Canadian province or territory, in good standingDeep familiarity with Canadian civil procedure, costs regimes, and damages assessmentCommercial judgment: you can distinguish a strong case from a fundable investmentBilingualism (English/French) a robust asset, particularly for Québec matters #J-18808-Ljbffr
