- Ensure schedule quality, consistency and governance across the project portfolio while reporting schedule performance against approved baselines.
- Perform critical path analysis, float analysis, schedule sensitivity assessments and scenario planning to support project decision-making.
- Collaborate with project teams to support quantitative schedule risk analysis (QSRA) and provide schedule insights for stage-gate reviews and contingency planning.
- Develop and maintain planning standards, scheduling procedures, templates and methodologies to promote consistency across all projects.
- Evaluate planning tools and systems while providing technical guidance to project teams, engineering consultants and contractors on scheduling requirements.

- Integrate schedule information with cost, risk and scope data to support portfolio reporting and overall project performance analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned, process enhancements and mentoring of project planners and scheduling professionals.

The Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 12 years' experience in project planning and scheduling within the mining, resources or heavy industrial sectors.
- Proven experience supporting capital projects from study phases (PEA, PFS and Feasibility) through to execution.
- Strong knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM), Earned Value Management (EVM), schedule risk analysis and project controls frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and schedule risk analysis tools such as @Risk or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining complex, integrated project schedules across multidisciplinary teams.
- Solid understanding of mining and heavy industrial project lifecycles, with underground mining project experience considered an advantage.
- Experience independently reviewing and challenging contractor and engineering consultant schedules while providing objective planning assurance.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present schedule performance and risks to both technical and executive audiences.
- Experience working within Owner's Teams, EPCM organisations or major engineering consultancies is highly desirable.
- Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP), PMP or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
