Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated private caregiver/assistant to provide personalized support and assistance to individuals in their homes. Responsibilities

- Provide patient-centered care tailored to each individual's needs, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and document all medication-related activities diligently
- Assist with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional requirements are met and dietary restrictions are followed
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary, using proper techniques to ensure safety for both client and caregiver
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning living areas, laundry, and maintaining a safe workplace




- Monitor health status by observing changes in physical or mental condition, reporting concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being, especially for those with dementia or disabilities

Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care settings is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience providing patient care for seniors or individuals with disabilities
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and managing patients with complex medical needs
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and safety procedures
- Ability to perform caregiving duties that require physical strength, including heavy lifting and transfers
- Experience maintaining cleanliness and organization within a healthcare or home environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients’ families and healthcare teams
