Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble food items according to school guidelines, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transaction processing
- Serve meals to students and staff with friendly customer service, promoting a positive dining atmosphere
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by cleaning food prep areas, utensils, tables, and equipment regularly
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Assist in upselling menu items or special offerings to enhance meal sales and student satisfaction

Qualifications





- Previous food service experience or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy meal periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counting
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, qualified demeanor
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment within a fast-paced setting
