Profile

The ProcessManufacturing Technician ensures the harmonization of methods, processes,and the performance of production lines in accordance with quality, safety,loss, lead-time, and cost objectives. The role also contributes to thetechnical training of line operators and production/preparation team leaders(equipment settings, monitoring of process indicators).

Responsibilities

Operational and Technical Management

- Analyzeoperational documents (production schedules, reports, non-conformities,etc.);
- Define, formalize, and updateequipment setting parameters;
- Organize and conduct industrialtrials (current products, processes, raw materials);
- Prepare trial reports andanalyses;
- Update tracking tools andreports.

Quality, Hygiene, and Safety

- Monitor product qualitythroughout the process;
- Apply and comply with quality,hygiene,



safety, and environmental standards;
- Identify anomalies andimplement corrective and preventive actions.

Communication and Training

- Train line operators and teamleaders;
- Communicate with production,maintenance, quality, R&D;, and other departments;
- Provide regular reporting tomanagement.

Continuous Improvement and Projects

- Analyzetechnical malfunctions;
- Propose and follow up onimprovement actions;
- Participate in thecommissioning of new equipment;
- Collaborate with all sitedepartments.

Education & Experience

- College diploma (minimum) in arelated field is an asset;
- Mechanical engineering trainingis an asset;
- Significant experience in asimilar position is preferred;
- Experience in the agri-foodindustry is an asset;
- Proficiency in French isrequired for the duties of the position. Knowledge of English is anasset.
